Teacher Sacked Over BLM Poster

After images leaked of Black Lives Matter posters including some reading “Stop Killer Cops” and “Pigs out of the country”, in school teachers' classrooms on Sydney’s upper north shore, the NSW police minister is urging he be sacked, although Mr. Elliot told 2GB host Ben Fordham on Wednesday that he thought the teacher involved should be fired. “They have completely let their student body down by indoctrinating and brainwashing them at a time when they really should be learning how to read and write,” he said.

The Department of Education is undertaking a review at the request of NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell.

Ms. Mitchell said the posters should not have been displayed in the classroom.

“Any teacher found to be politicizing a classroom will face disciplinary action. Political activism has no place in a school,” she said.
